Who is Mr. Jerry?

Jerry Elder (Mr. Jerry) is the youth and family minister at Spring Meadows Church of Christ. He has forty years of experience as a youth minister.

What is Chapel about?

It's learning from the greatest book in the world— the Bible!

The word of God: we teach stories and make application that can be understood even at a young age. 

Singing to God: we sing songs that teach us how to live for Him and live for each other. 

Praying: the earlier they begin praying to God, the earlier they begin a relationship with Him. 

Our Mission: We want to teach your children about Jesus, the son of God. We want to teach about God's love for us through Him.

When is Chapel?

Jerry leads chapel at SMA twice per week at 9:20 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

A Message from Mr. Jerry.

I love our chapel times together! The laughter and joy I see from the children gives me hope for the future. I'm reminded what the Savior said when He stated: 

"except you be as a little child, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven."
